About NCMCA
The North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association has served masonry professionals across the Carolinas for decades through certification, community, and advocacy.
By and For the Masonry Industry
The North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association is by and for the professional masonry contractors and masonry industry leaders of the Carolinas. Members and non-members alike benefit from NCMCA's ongoing advocacy of masonry in all its forms.
NCMCA is organized into 6 regional chapters: Central Piedmont, Eastern, Land of Sky, Metrolina, Raleigh, and Western, each hosting regular monthly meetings that bring local contractors, associate members, and industry leaders together.
Through the NCMCA Masonry Contractor Certification Program, the association has certified over 540 individuals and 27 companies, establishing a benchmark for excellence in the industry that is recognized by architects, specifiers, and owners statewide.
NCMCA also invests in the next generation through the Masonry Pre-Apprenticeship Program and partnerships with NC high school masonry instructors, creating a pipeline of skilled craftspeople for the future of the industry.

How NCMCA is Governed
The NCMCA Masonry Certification Program is governed by the NCMCA Certification Board of Governors, whose members are approved by the NCMCA Board of Directors. The board includes four NCMCA masonry contractor members (a Chairman appointed by the NCMCA President and three contractor members appointed by the Board of Directors) along with four non-contractor members representing the American Institute of Architects, the Southeast Concrete Masonry Association, the Brick Industry Association, and a nominee of the NCMCA Board of Directors, plus the NCMCA Executive Director, who serves as a permanent member.
The association's broader governance includes officer leadership elected from the membership, chapter presidents who represent their regional communities, and associate officer members who represent the broader masonry materials and services industry.
